Interactive brochure for Hyundai
We continue exploring the potential of augmented reality.
In the test project, we create an interactive brochure for Hyundai. We show an interesting way of printed products using in other reality.
The app identifies Hyundai’s logo through the smartphone (iPhone 6) camera. Hyundai Motor CIS magazine appears in the plane of the logo. You can turn over the pages with finger touch (gestures). We have placed a test car on a magazine page, which can be seen from different sides by changing smartphone position in a space. We naturally can place a different 3D-object on the magazine pages (a building, e. g.). You need to bring a smartphone closer to Hyundai’s logo to study magazine article.
Interactive Brochure all over the world
You can release the app in Apple App Store or Google Play, and it will be available worldwide. And first of all, you need a developer accounts. Today, the application approval takes only a couple of days.
- In Google Play it is automatic and takes a couple of hours
- In Apple App Store it takes about 2 days
So you do not need to print a new batch of products in every country and in every town. It’s especially relevant if you are an international brand. Furthermore, augmented reality is a proven way to win the hearts of consumers. So you should take this trend a note.
