Unity’s Live Streams
Part of the information from Unite can be found on Unity’s YouTube channel through live streams. For years of watching Unity’s live streams, I’ve developed 1 main rule for myself: watch them later, at a convenient time, with the ability to skip the parts I’ve already learned before.
I follow GameDev and Unity News regularly to share it with you on LinkedIn and YouTube, so I don’t have enough time to consume every word a separate Game Company says about the Greatness of Unity, its Versatility, and so on.
Instead, I take the time to select the really important topics, process them, and explain the Key Points to My Developer Audience. That’s how I save both my time and yours. I consume tons of information every day to create a post of just 500 characters, supported by visuals that Grab Your Attention.
This is an Art.
I’m not interested in hype without first verifying the information and understanding it myself so I can explain it in a more meaningful way. No AI can do this — That’s why, in July, I got my First Brand Collaboration with a 3rd-party Asset Developer.
I believe the main reason to “watch live stream” is if you’re physically attending the Unite Conference, where you can have incredible conversations and meet amazing people.
Again, that’s just my personal case. I’m a Content Creator, and it’s my job to read the news every day.
